Catch or No Catch?

Here's the situation again:
Visitors winning 5-2 in the bottom of the 7th.

Home team has the bases loaded with 2 outs.

B9 hits a long fly ball to left center field.

The left fielder leaps, reaches over the fence and catches the fly ball.

Three outs. Visitors win by a score of 5-2.

While the left fielder is jogging in towards his dugout, the 3rd Base Coach observes that the left fielder was wearing a catcher’s glove.

The 3rd base coach immediately protests to the plate umpire, who has not left the field, that the catch is illegal because the left fielder used a catcher’s glove to make the catch.

What’s the call?

A. Rule an illegal catch and offer the offense the option of taking the result of the play (an out) or have the batter resume his turn at bat. The left fielder is ejected for using an illegal glove

B. Rule an illegal catch and award the batter and all runners the base or bases they are entitled. Since the ball was beyond the fence, declare a four base award to the batter and score all runners. Home team wins by a score of 6-5.

C. Rule a legal catch since any fielder can use a glove or mitt while playing defense. Play stands. Visitors win by a score of 5-2.

D. Inform the 3rd Base Coach that the game is over and the play cannot be protested.
